About the DVCUG
Founded in 1981, the Delaware Valley Computer Users Group (DVCUG) is a
community of business systems professionals. The primary focus of the
organization is education related to IBM midrange computer systems and associated
technologies. The membership consists of several hundred individuals and
companies from the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.
A general
meeting and educational event is held each month (normally the third Wednesday).
The DVCUG is run by volunteers who serve on the Board of
Directors and various planning and event organizing committees. All members are
encouraged and invited to participate in shaping the future direction of the group and
contributing to its success.
DVCUG Mission Statement:
The Delaware Valley Computer Users Group (DVCUG) serves
Information Technology professionals who utilize IBM Midrange and related technologies.
The DVCUG promotes an understanding of industry practices, supports professional development,
and facilitates communication among its members.
