Abhi Basu
Abhi Basu has over thirty years of experience in the EPC (Engineering,
Procurement and Construction) and Information Technology industries. He has
managed a variety of small to very large projects and programs in a number
of capacities in the EPC and the IS/IT environment.
Abhi has worked on a number of Business Process Re-engineering initiatives

Dean Curtis

sources of entertainment include doing work breakdown structures (on his
checkbook) for scheduling games and practices for two basketball leagues for
which he is assistant coach, running in circles with the family dog, hitting
a small white ball down an open fairway, and driving his co-workers, spouse
and children crazy with "humorous" jokes.

Before starting his own practice, Calvin worked for IBM for several years.
He started as a programmer at the Santa Teresa Laboratory in San Jose and
eventually became an AS/400 systems engineer and later a market support
representative in Philadelphia. He then joined KPMG Peat Marwick as an IT
consultant and manager, where he led the development of an AS/400-based
application for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He holds a
B.A. from Haverford College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the
University of Pennsylvania.
Calvin has studied extensively about the Titanic. He has written and
published articles about the subject, visited and photographed the 150
victim graves in Nova Scotia plus others in the United States, delivered
lectures, and has interviewed two sons of a Titanic survivor. His article on
the Nova Scotia victim graves appeared in the October 1999 issue of American

Frank Tonn
Frank Tonn began his Lotus affiliation in 1994 in Munich, Germany, at
CompuNet, a Lotus Business Partner. His background is that of a
mathematician; he received a Diploma in Mathematics from the University of
Cologne. At CompuNet he soon specialized as a Lotus Notes application
developer. In 1998 he moved to Lotus Professional Services in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. By now a System Architect, he became an expert in Domino - SAP
R/3 Integration. On his next move, to Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA in 2000,
Frank joined the Advanced Collaboration Group in the Worldwide Technical
Sales Team at Lotus Software headquarters and worked as Advisory Software
Engineer for Lotus Workflow. Since 2003 he supports the IBM Sales Team in
the New York region as a Certified Senior IT Specialist, providing product
related technical expertise to Business Partners and Customers through
presentations and proofs of concept.
