Abhi Basu
Abhi Basu has over thirty years of experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and Information Technology industries. He has managed a variety of small to very large projects and programs in a number of capacities in the EPC and the IS/IT environment.

Abhi has worked on a number of Business Process Re-engineering initiatives such as revamping the project planning and delivery processes for a very large program, revamping a procurement and vendor management system, implementing Executive Information Systems etc. He has developed software for data extraction and access systems to enhance user access to hundreds of thousands of engineering drawings for a large geographically distributed infrastructure program and is assisting in redeploying an asset information system from legacy to a GIS based system.

Rick Bunker
Mr. Bunker joined Nathanson and Company in February 2002 as a partner focusing on management consulting.  Rick has over 18 years experience in the computer industry, including positions as Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of the Internet Capital Group, President & Chief Executive Officer of Reality Online (a Reuters subsidiary) and Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of SEI Investments.

Other experience includes interim CEO assignments at Xyan.com and ServerVault, Vice President leading investment management and trading technology for State Street Global Advisors, Principal Consultant for SQL Solutions (now Sybase Professional Services), contract programmer for Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG), Russian Linguist for the US Army Security Agency and Bouncer for the Rathskeller in Boston, MA.

Sergio Carbone

John Crowley
John Crowley’s IT career has spanned 28 years. Starting as a programmer in 1975, John has held a number of technical and product responsibilities in the database and application development field. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He is a past speaker at Common. Dean Curtis
As the Technical Sales Director at Pumatech, Dean Curtis manages the worlwide technical field sales team. The team’s responsibilities include supporting retail, enterprise and technology licensing opportunities as well as partner relations. He came to Pumatech in 1999 as a member of the technology licensing team supporting the eastern United States. Prior to coming to Pumatech, Mr. Curtis spent two years at Oracle as a Sales Consultant. At Oracle he was responsible for supporting mobile computing initiatives across the company. Before joining Oracle, Mr. Curtis spent four years as a teacher in the Baltimore County Public Schools. Gunars Foldats
Gunars has 20 years experience in Information Technology, working within diverse industries including Hotel/Casino, Human and Veterinary Healthcare, and Retail. With a similarly diverse application background in his consulting experiences Gunars has had the opportunity to integrate systems and business functions in marketing, distribution and sales. Fred Gamache
Fred has worked in the Philadelphia area on the S/38 and iSeries for the past 18 years, the last 14 years as a consultant. He has previously spoken at DVCUG meetings and December seminars on iSeries topics including SQL, Open Query File, CL Programming, and Net.Data. He has published several articles in Midrange  Computing and News/3x magazines on iSeries topics.  Fred's expertise is in RPG and CL application development, iSeries system administration and upgrades, along with Visual Basic, VB.Net and ASP.Net programming and web application development. Pete Massiello
Pete Massiello has been working with the AS/400 since 1989, focusing on systems management and technical services. He has held numerous technical positions before becoming a partner in OS Solutions International, Inc. Pete has a BS in Computer Science from Hofstra University, and an MBA from the University of New Haven. He is President of the Fairfield CT AS/400 User Group (FASUG), a member of the COMMON Board of Directors, and a frequent speaker at local user groups.  Display grid

Thomas Mattus
Tom is Vice President of Sales and Marketing with PCI Global Inc and is responsible for worldwide sales and strategic planning. Prior to PCI, Tom was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MoneyTrac, a financial services program from The Travelers Insurance Company. In addition, he has held senior sales and marketing positions with American Express and Zenger?Miller Inc.

Tom sells training programs but has also delivered Project Management training to Johnson & Johnson, Dun & Bradstreet, CPC/Best Foods and others. He has also conducted a variety of PM workshops and presentations at the ASTD International Conference, ADTD Midwest Training Conference, the Organizational Research Council and Electric Council of New England. He has published several articles in Human Resource Executive and Project Management Institute Magazine.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree, in Economics and Business, from Widener University and an M.B.A from Lehigh University. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), PMI and the Sales & Marketing Executive Club.

Tom resides with his wife and two children in Belle Terre, NY. His major sources of entertainment include doing work breakdown structures (on his checkbook) for scheduling games and practices for two basketball leagues for which he is assistant coach, running in circles with the family dog, hitting a small white ball down an open fairway, and driving his co-workers, spouse and children crazy with "humorous" jokes.  Display grid

Tricia Steege

Joanne Tesar
Joanne Tesar is a Senior Consultant with Weidenhammer Systems Corporation. Ms. Tesar has 21 years experience in the IBM mid-range arena including 9 years at Weidenhammer.  During the last five years, Ms. Tesar has concentrated on development of Iseries Web applications and is an IBM certified for e-business technologist and an IBM certified for e-business solution designer.  Display grid

Calvin Sun
Calvin Sun specializes in helping information technology (IT) professionals and organizations improve their performance. In particular, he helps IT professionals improve their ability to communicate and work with internal customers and each other. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Computerworld, Smart Business, The Washington Post, The New York Times and Philadelphia Business Journal. His clients include senior IT executives of major companies and utilities such as York International, Playtex Products, Arizona Public Service, Public Service Company of New Mexico, Atlanta Gas Light, Piedmont Natural Gas Company, PJM Interconnection, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Potomac Electric Power Company.

Calvin is the author of a 1997 article on e-mail etiquette for Entrepreneur magazine. His speaking engagements include Front Lines conference 2002, the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP), TransITech 2003 executive information technology conference, Connection 2003.

Before starting his own practice, Calvin worked for IBM for several years. He started as a programmer at the Santa Teresa Laboratory in San Jose and eventually became an AS/400 systems engineer and later a market support representative in Philadelphia. He then joined KPMG Peat Marwick as an IT consultant and manager, where he led the development of an AS/400-based application for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He holds a B.A. from Haverford College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Calvin has studied extensively about the Titanic. He has written and published articles about the subject, visited and photographed the 150 victim graves in Nova Scotia plus others in the United States, delivered lectures, and has interviewed two sons of a Titanic survivor. His article on the Nova Scotia victim graves appeared in the October 1999 issue of American Funeral Director.  Display grid

Frank Tonn
Frank Tonn began his Lotus affiliation in 1994 in Munich, Germany, at CompuNet, a Lotus Business Partner. His background is that of a mathematician; he received a Diploma in Mathematics from the University of Cologne. At CompuNet he soon specialized as a Lotus Notes application developer. In 1998 he moved to Lotus Professional Services in Buenos Aires, Argentina. By now a System Architect, he became an expert in Domino - SAP R/3 Integration. On his next move, to Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA in 2000, Frank joined the Advanced Collaboration Group in the Worldwide Technical Sales Team at Lotus Software headquarters and worked as Advisory Software Engineer for Lotus Workflow. Since 2003 he supports the IBM Sales Team in the New York region as a Certified Senior IT Specialist, providing product related technical expertise to Business Partners and Customers through presentations and proofs of concept.  Display grid
